The safety issues to pay attention to when using a paper cutting machine have always been a matter that every paper industry practitioner cannot ignore.
There are several aspects that generally affect the safe use of paper cutting machines:
1. Braking device. Many manufacturers, in order to save costs, use upper and lower limit sensors to cut off the power supply of the cutting blade for braking. If a sudden power outage occurs using this method, it is highly likely to cause a very dangerous situation of "knife slipping". So in order to prevent this from happening, it is best to use a motor with a mechanical braking device. In most fault situations, the motor is in a locked state to avoid accidents.
2. In daily work, the paper cutting machine is usually equipped with two staff members to operate, which generally requires the paper cutting machine to be equipped with two safety covers, front and rear. When the safety cover is open, the motor will not operate again, ensuring the safety of the operator.
3. When the paper cutter is not working or when the blade needs to be replaced, the removed blade should not be placed randomly to avoid injury.
